Hawk

Hawk is an 8 year old Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie). She is Merlin's half sister and originally came to me on a co-ownership for agility training.

We began training in agility in early 2007 and by July of that year we were competing in her first trial. She earned her NA, NAJ, OA, OAJ, AX, 2/3 of her AXJ, and 1 MX leg (with 38 MACH points) in just 12 trial days between that first July trial and her last trial with me in mid-January 2008.

She earned her nickname of the Agility Diva while here, not only because of her love (and skill) for the game, but her happy dance all the way to and from the ring for her runs!

She was very promising in agility and loved the game more than anything, but her co-owner and I had different ideas of what was in Hawk's best interest. In the latter part of January 2008, we went our separate ways and Hawk returned to her for a short time.

I enjoyed having Hawk here and training and competing with her, but I'm happy knowing she now lives with new owners who love her dearly and let her play as much agility as she wants! She recently finished her MACH2, and is working on her MACH3 with her new owners, Debbie and Kevin Wikstrom.
